Rob Charest

Rob is a Senior Managing Director of Equity Production at Boston Financial and offers almost 20 years of experience in low-income housing tax credit acquisitions and underwriting.  Rob is responsible for the origination, financial structuring, and negotiating of LIHTC transactions primarily in the Northeast Region; having closed over $1.8 billion of equity in affordable housing throughout the country.  Boston Financial offers equity financing, bridge financing, pre-development loans, and acquisition mezzanine debt for developers of low-income housing projects nationwide. Throughout its history, Boston Financial has amassed one of the largest portfolios of LIHTC properties in the country by creating lasting relationships with both the investor and developer communities.  Prior to joining Boston Financial, Rob was responsible for the Financial Planning and Analysis at a Boston based marketing company and earned a B.S. in Economics and Marketing from the Isenberg School of Management at The University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
